Crawford grew up in Sydney however she has spent a significant amount of her life in rural NSW with her extended family. She has a lifelong love and appreciation of life in a rural community.
For 30 years Crawford has had the privilege of working with all age groups in both urban and rural locations. She has worked in public settings however, for the last 25 years she has primarily been in Private practice.
Over the years Crawford’s areas of speciality have included interpersonal issues, couple therapy, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, workplace stressors, financial challenges, Ante and Post natal depression, domestic violence and general stress related issues.
Crawford utilises a number of therapeutic approaches when working with a person with the intention to address an individuals particular needs. Some of these include Cognitive Behaviour therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness and Relaxation. All of which are evidence-based treatments.
Crawford is registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency), APS ( Australian Psychological Society), and Australian & New Zealand Mental Health Association. She is a registered Medicare provider.
