Kat was born and raised in Europe before relocating to Australia as a young adult. She has lived and worked in various rural, remote, and urban areas of the country and appreciates the joys and challenges associated with different lifestyles.
With experience working with people of all ages and diverse cultural backgrounds, Kat supports clients facing various mental health challenges with a particular interest in anxiety, panic attacks, stress management, adjustment difficulties, and depression.
She works collaboratively with clients to explore strengths and help to create positive change, well-being, and empowerment in each client’s life. Her evidence-based therapeutic approach includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
Kat is a registered provisional psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and holds membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi).
