Kat was born and raised in Europe before relocating to Australia as a young adult. She has lived and worked in various rural, remote, and urban areas of the country and appreciates the joys and challenges associated with different lifestyles.
With experience working with people of all ages and diverse cultural backgrounds, Kat supports clients facing various mental health challenges, with a particular interest in generalised anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, OCD, phobias, depression, stress management, grief & loss, and adjustment difficulties.
She works collaboratively with clients to explore their unique strengths, challenges, and goals to help create clarity, positive change, and empowerment in each client’s life. Her evidence-based neuro-affirming therapeutic approach includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy.
Kat is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), holds membership with the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi), and is registered to provide services under Medicare and SIRA.
