Born and raised south of Sydney, Ben spent several years travelling and living in different locations, experiences that helped shape his interest in people, wellbeing and psychology. He has worked across a range of clinical settings and brings extensive experience working with forensic populations.
Ben works with adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, and trauma. He is trained in a variety of evidence-based psychological approaches, including Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Ben takes a person-centred, collaborative approach to therapy. He works with clients to understand their thoughts, emotions, behaviours and life circumstances, helping them identify unhelpful patterns and develop practical strategies for change. He sees therapy as a supportive space to develop insight and self-understanding, strengthen coping skills and work towards meaningful personal growth.
Ben aims to provide a calm, grounded and respectful therapeutic environment where clients feel supported to explore challenges at their own pace.
Ben is registered with AHPRA as a Clinical Psychologist (Registrar). He is also a registered provider with Medicare and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA).
